Yesterday, I bought a 1gb 2nd gen iPod shuffle as our birthday gift for tatay. I was actually looking for the 1st gen so I could purchase for the same price range with higher memory, kaso phased-out na pala yon LOL. And even the 2gb 2nd gen is defunct as well. Or is it just in Trinoma? Anyway.. He actually deserves more than that but that's all I can afford at the moment. Naawa kasi ako when he asked me to transfer mp3s in his old phone pero hindi kasya kahit isang mp3, kahit nagbura na sha ng files hahahaha. I'm so excited to give it to him. I want to hand it to him already but I guess I should just wait til his birthday on Monday. :)
If you're planning to buy an iPod, buy in Digital Walker! Other stores price theirs similar to Power Mac Centers. Mas mahal by 300 bucks. What I bought in Pods-Digital Walker had a price tag of 2,650php but when I was about to for it 2,500 na lang daw kasi cash! Napa-thank you Lord talaga ko kasi what I just spent was my allowance for the coming weeks. Hehe. Bye.

It's Defense secretary Gilbert Teodoro!!!!!!!! Hahaha. And our stack or gazillions of bond papers cuz that's how we roll. Wala akong magawa. Pota. Wala nanaman yung boss ko dahil highblood nanaman. I think he's on the verge of quitting; this job is taking too much out of him. :|

Sobrang palubog na ng palubog sa burak yung reputasyon ni PGMA. Hindi pa nga namamatay yung Le Cirque dinner issue, nabalita pa/na kahapon yung plastikan nila ni Erap dun sa isang wedding sa Cebu. EH. >:(
May Baboy Sa Jeep Kahapon
I was about to board my second to the last jeep ride on the way home yesterday. I stepped on the platform, chose to sit on the second seat immediately from the door, in between a man and this certain lady. Or pig. Okay, fat lady. Because there was still space, of course the usual passenger instinct would be to sit there since it was nearest the non-existent jeepney door. It was enough to fit a regular-sized person, so I do not understand why this extra-large bitch had to be so annoyed when I sat beside her. After hesitatingly nudging a bit away from me (because it seemed as if nasisikipan sha), she annoyingly told her companion, "Kainis kasi dito pa umupo! Usod ka nga blahblah!" Surprised at the attitude I just heard, I shot a look at her with a WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU face, and she actually had the guts to annoyingly look at me too. I turned away and made a mental note that I should not make patol--there are two of them and they're both big women so obviously, talo ako pag lumaban ako. So I just braced myself for this jeepney ride from hell.
The worst part is that the trip lasted for almost an hour, and during the entirety of it she really took every chance she can to sit sideways. As in ganito:
--which I do not understand if such was done intentionally just to annoy me, or she was just really inconsiderate like that. I mean, she's fat, so, seated properly, she already occupies space that would fit two passengers. I really couldn't do anything but wait til I reach my destination, and I had to apologize to the person sitting on my other side since naiipit na din sha dun sa dulo ng jeep. Sabi ko na lang, "sorry ho ah dalawa ata binayad nito eh," as audible for her as possible. But to no avail. As in wa sha kebs. FML moment talaga for that man being sandwiched by me and the jeep rails.
I'm finally about to alight (FINALLY TALAGA MYGAD). Before I went out of the vehicle, I shifted sideways, pushed myself backwards tapos inatrasan ko sha. Sabay baba ng jeep LOL. I heard her say "tarantado to ah!" but pretended that I didn't, acted like I was innocent and kept walking while trying to stop myself from smirking. The jeep waited for some passengers to aboard so I was getting ahead of them, and when it finally sped off, just when they reached where I also already was, I swear I heard her scream "HOY!" HAHAHAHA. Again, I pretended not to have heard a thing. I actually foresaw that she was going to do something of that sort as revenge for what I did, and thought that if she does I'm gonna give her the finger and do the oinkoink poke on my nose. But I figured that ignoring her would be better, because then she looked like a stupid skwater na palengkera who screams at people in a public place, while on a moving public vehicle. How much more jologs can she get, right. Kahit magwala sha dun wala naman shang mapapala, mukha lang shang tanga. :))) Kung matapang sha talaga dapat bumaba sha ng jeep at sinugod nya ko. Kayang-kaya naman nya ako kasi balyena sha eh. But no. All bark and no bite. Or more appropriately.. All OINK AND NO BITE HAHAHAHA :P
The worst part is, I overheard her and her companion talking about their families, and I could not imagine how someone so ill-mannered like her could have a family. Goodluck talaga sa mga anak nya, sana wag lumaking katulad nya, morally and physically LOL. And they actually had the nerve to complain about this student they rode with in the jeepney the other day; ang arte arte daw kasi pati ng pag-upo, ang sarap daw sapakin. THE NERVE TALAGA POTA. Ikaw, babaeng mataba na naka-gray, na nasa jeep galing Monumento at around 6pm kahapon, na bababa sa IS Bangkal, na may kasamang babae na naka-red, UGALI MO TE HA. Sa totoo lang wala kang karapatan mag-inarte dahil kung nasisikipan ka sa inupuan mo kahapon, di ko kasalanan yun kaya wag mo kong artehan dahil kahit sino pa iupo mo sa tabi mo sisikip talaga kase ANLAKI MO EH. Sana maging considerate ka naman. Ang laki na nga ng space na na-o-occupy mo umaarte ka pa. Buti nga isa lang pinapabayad sayo eh. Ugali mo te. Sana wag ka tularan ng mga anak mo! Mataba + inconsiderate sa pag-upo: ultimate jeepney passenger from hell ka FYI!
I hope never to encounter anything similar to this again. Sobrang BV, sayang sa emozyon!

Okay I realized this post might have been inconsiderate in itself, and a bit tactless. But just to clarify, this isn't supposed to be against fat people [kapal ko naman e antaba ko din], rather, how annoying and irritating it is to have to encounter such an irrational reaction from someone IN somewhere inappropriate. Mag-inarte sha ng ganun kung nasa bahay nya sha or nasa sarili nya shang sasakyan, diba? Kaso hindi eh. Public transportation yun. Di nya pag-aari. Kupal kasi ako sa kupal sakin, hence, the tactlessness and anger in this post. This isn't meant for anyone else but her. Tae sha.

I was planning on posting something else, but, yeah.
This isn't quite a morning you would want to wake up to. Cancer sucks so bad; I hope someday it gets a dose of its own crap.
When my mom felt she was on her last days, she expressed that if she would die, she wanted it to be on a Saturday, because it is a day for Mama Mary. And she did. A miracle always happens especially to those who believe in it even if the situation tells you otherwise. August 1, 2008 at 3.18am on a Saturday, Pres. Cory Aquino comes home, and I can almost picture her being welcomed with open arms by Mama Mary. :) She has always been a symbol of justice and righteousness in this country. She has had suffering more than what's required for one's lifetime, it is now time for her to be rewarded.
I txtd ate Lani extending my condolences to her and Senator Noynoy, and here's her reply:
"the family is much appreciative of your heartfelt sympathy. thank you daw."
I feel so sad about this that it bothers me. Strange. Well, I guess that's how much she has penetrated into the lives of each and everyone of us. Look at how gloomy it is outside.. Even the skies are mourning this loss.
