But after being warned about trusting others too leniently..

After being betrayed, left behind, cheated on or lied to several times, often by those I have managed to entrust my life with..

Can't you help but be cynical?

It's like one day the alarm goes off for.. forever, making me doubt without the benefit that not everyone who came will just betray me sooner or later.

If I count the people I trust at this moment using my fingers, I wouldn't consume all of it. Tas siguro yung isa kalahati lang ng isang daliri.
